What a Christmas!

WOW...what an eventful Christmas...

After finishing his finals my brother came home for Christmas break, and while I was finishing my finals, Grandma Clay flew into town. Then Friday the 22nd Amy and Jeremy arrived and we all of a sudden had a full house again. That night, Christmas eve eve eve, we opened gifts. Our parents spoiled us to death! And, we kids even spoiled our parents a little! After wrapping paper had covered the floor and most of the gifts were opened, we all receieved one last package from the Bakers. We were told it was something for the trip and they wanted us all to open the gift at the same time...we did and in each package was a picture frame with a note inside that read, "Dear Aunt Bethany (Uncle Jonathan, Great-grandma Clay, ect.) I can't wait to meet you in July! Love, Baby Baker". We were all extremely excited! We even got to see the baby's first photo!

That night, the WHOLE house was up until about 1:30 opening gifts and then packing the car for Colorado. The next morning we hit the road at 7:30 and arrived at our condo in Frisco, Colorado around dinner time. We had fun relaxing and getting to bed early, because Christmas day is when the action begins...SKIING! Everyone is going to ski , including my 75 year old grandma and my...well..."not as young as he used to be" father. We are just praying that everyone survives the slopes! At the condo's clubhouse last night I saw a very funny, yet true definition of skiing and it goes as follows: "Ski-ing (noun) the art of carching cold and going broke while rapidly heading nowhere at great personal risk". O brother! Merry Christmas everyone, I hope this Christmas will be as special for you as it will be for me! Love you all,
-Aunt Bethany-
